Joining the California Geographical Society is a smart investment. It's very inexpensive, it looks good on a resume and it demonstrates your commitment to the discipline and the profession. More importantly though, you'll be joining a friendly group of fun-loving, but accomplished scholars, educators and students who enjoy the fellowship of others who enjoy geography, the natural environment, travel, the Golden State and are possessed with the spirit of intellectual curiosity.
You can also submit your membership fees as part of the process of registering for the annual spring meeting.
